Our Team

Jeanette Nelson

Jeanette Nelson

CEO and Founder

Jeanette founded Gossamer Marketing Group to help brands be more empathetic to customer/patient needs and fill knowledge, technology and staffing gaps that prevent their Marketing and Sales teams from being fully effective. She has over 25 years of product marketing experience, predominately in the healthcare product and technology space.

Throughout her career, Jeanette has focused on improving the patient experience and healthcare quality/outcomes. Early on, she served as Customer Communications Administrator for the then largest pharmacy chain where she interacted with thousands of retail pharmacy clients. From there, Jeanette transitioned to the healthcare technology space where she has worked for over two decades in product marketing roles across healthcare stakeholders to advance use of emerging technologies and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Jeanette was highly involved in early efforts to advance ePrescribing/EPCS and has contributed to efforts to advance health IT in other areas such as clinical information exchange, electronic prior authorization, real-time benefit check and healthcare interoperability.

As CEO of Gossamer Marketing Group, Jeanette is delighted to work with her clients to advance use of specific health IT use cases, connect with their target audiences in meaningful ways and apply technology to improve the productivity and effectiveness of Sales and Marketing teams.

Jeanette also serves as an Advisory Board member for She Elevates, a non-profit organization creating a pathway for girls ages 8 to 14 to be confident leaders, entrepreneurs and CEOs. In her free time, she can often be found hiking or bicycling on one of Ohio’s many trails.
